Marina Guzman didn’t grow up dreaming of opening a restaurant — her journey started with a mother’s determination to create a better life for her children. From a young age, she carried a strong work ethic, and after having her first child, she committed herself to doing whatever it took to provide and protect her growing family. Though she’s no longer with us, her legacy continues to guide everything we do. Every dish we serve, every person we greet, is a reminder of her heart, her strength, and the love she shared so generously with everyone who walked through the doors.
When she moved to the United States, her brothers introduced her to the restaurant world. From that point on, Marina did it all — cooking, bussing, waiting tables — never afraid to get her hands dirty and always leading with heart. The road wasn’t easy, but through every challenge, she stayed focused on her dream.
That dream became Mi Rancho — a place not just to eat, but to feel at home. Marina poured her love into every corner of the restaurant, treating guests like family and ensuring no one ever left without a full belly and a warm smile.
